Location Highlights:

Nestled only a short distance from the historic center of San Gimignano, Villa Iris offers an authentic Tuscan experience. It's an ideal base to explore the renowned medieval town known for its towers and charming streets.

On a hill facing the famous towers of San Gimignano lies Villa Iris, developed thanks to the meticulous restoration of a former brick kiln dating back to 1737.

A large garden of around 5,000 square meters surrounds the entire property and has a swimming pool made of fine stone including a hot tub which can become a children's pool if needed, a bocce (bowls) court and a grass soccer field.

The villa also features a well-being zone including a Finnish sauna with color therapy, a multi-sensory shower and a gym.

Amenities:

The villa has been carefully restored and furnished by the owners, who also possess other splendid villas in San Gimignano, using materials of the highest quality. For example, the kitchen was crafted with large slabs of Carrara marble and old local bricks. The lengthy and meticulous restoration was completed in June 2014. Villa Iris offers its visitors all the latest modern comforts for a truly exclusive stay. Immersed in the serenity of this enchanting place, it allows guests to breathe in the atmosphere of a bygone era without compromising on the utmost contemporary well-being.

Day 1 - Arrival and Welcome (May 3rd)

Enjoy a welcome dinner where you can meet fellow attendees and discuss the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 - Exploring San Gimignano (May 4th)
Spend the day discovering the medieval town of San Gimignano, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views. Highlights include tasting the world-famous Dondoli gelato. The day includes a visit to a local Chianti winery for an authentic Tuscan lunch and wine tasting, followed by a pizza-making session with a local chef back at the villa.

Day 3 - Catamaran Adventure** (May 5th)
Discover the stunning Tuscan coastline with a delightful day aboard a luxurious and spacious catamaran. Dive into a world of relaxation and adventure with activities like swimming, beach-hopping, snorkeling, and canoeing. Savor a delicious buffet lunch, fresh fruits, and sample local wines under the sun or in the cool shade. The catamaran is equipped with fresh water showers, towels, and ample space for sunbathing. Just bring your swimsuit and get ready for an unforgettable seaside escape!

Day 4 - Hot Air Balloon and Relaxation** (May 6th)
An early morning hot air balloon ride over the Tuscan landscape offers breathtaking views, followed by a Prosecco breakfast. Spend the rest of your day relaxing at the villa, enjoying the pool, and participating in a leisurely dinner prepared by a private chef who introduces you to more traditional Tuscan dishes.

Day 5 - Day Trip to Florence (May 7th)
Travel to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, for a guided tour that includes the Accademia Gallery and the David sculpture. Experience the vibrant local market for lunch and a shopping challenge to create your own Charcuterie Board, with a contest for the most creative arrangement.

Day 6 - Exploring Bologna (May 8th)
Journey to Bologna to explore its unique blend of historical and modern charm. The day includes multiple tastings of local delicacies like Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma. After a family-style lunch and wine tasting, you’ll return to San Gimignano for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 7 - Vespa Tour and Farewell (May 9th)
Experience the Tuscan countryside by Vespa, visiting iconic locations and enjoying a scenic ride through the Chianti region. The day includes stops for photos and a guided tour of a local winery with lunch. Conclude the evening with a farewell banquet in San Gimignano, celebrating the week’s experiences.

Departure (May 10th)
